🌳 Community Cleanup
Join us on Saturday, September 12th as we come together to beautify our neighborhood! We will be tackling litter and overgrown vegetation along designated one-mile out-and-back routes. Whether you can stay for 30 minutes or the whole two hours, your help makes a huge difference.

What to Expect: We will kick things off at 10:00 AM with a quick welcome and safety briefing. Volunteers will then spread out along our planned routes. Event organizers will be stationed at the park to assist you and coordinate trash collection as you return.
What is Provided: Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) is generously providing trash bags, a dumpster, and 10 trash grabbers (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
What to Bring:
Safety Gear: Please bring your own work gloves.
Tools: If you have them, please bring extra trash grabbers, brooms, garden clippers, or loppers. These will be especially helpful in areas with heavy vegetation, like the 30th Street bridge!
Comfort: Dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
Safety First!
Please use crosswalk signals whenever possible.
Exercise extreme caution when picking up trash along the roadside.
Keep an eye out for poison ivy along the routes.
If a trash bag gets too heavy to carry back to the park, please leave it safely out of the roadway and let our organizers back at the park know its exact location so we can retrieve it.
