Fall Creek Trail (19 of 44)

The Social Committee’s goal is to increase community engagement and build positive relationships between neighbors in the Mapleton-Fall Creek Neighborhood.

Current activities:

  • Book Club: for July and August, we are reading Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline.
  • 4H Club: We will be starting an Urban 4-H Program for youth in the third through 12th grades. Those involved in the group will create a project and learn about a variety of topics, ranging from healthy living, to leadership and citizenship, to the environment and the earth. Meetings are at College Branch Library, 6:30 p.m.
  • Walking Group: Meets at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Fridays. If you are interested in walking or want more information, contact the chair of the walking group, Ms. Dupree by email.
  • Block Clubs:
  • Seasonal Activities – neighborhood yard sale, block party, other ideas?

If you are interested in being on or sharing an idea with the Social committee, contact Edna Kemp by email or phone: (317) 662-0128.
